Dr Rupesh Adimulam is a Consultant Psychiatrist, specialising in General Adult Psychiatry. He has been working as a Psychiatrist since 2011 at the North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. He has worked as a Locum Consultant in the sector model and also as an inpatient Consultant. Within the field of Psychiatry, he has a particular interest in Neuropsychiatry and has established a neuropsychiatry clinic at the Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
He treats and manages many psychiatric illnesses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Adult ADHD and sleep disorders. He is dedicated to his work to provide the best care and support for his patients and aims to assist his patients during the course of their recovering from these disorders so that they can function to the best of their abilities.
With his dedication to Psychiatry, he has developed an interest in quality improvement and has been a local MAC chair since 2015. He is also known to be the medical lead in the infection control board and is involved in Flu vaccination campaigns. Dr Adimulam also works as a representative for the general adult psychiatry and neuropsychiatry course.
