“Happiness, not in another place but this place… not for another hour, but this hour” (Walt Whitman): I have had sessions with Sarah-Jane for the past two years and I credit her with bringing me back to life. She helped me out of a major depression, and then we figured out my version of a meaningful life, and how to live it. She challenged my ways of thinking: about myself, about others, about the world and my place in it, and she showed me how to retain the parts which worked, and to break free of what didn’t. She made me curious about life again, how to see its full technicolour. It’s hard work, it’s meant to be, and I would not have wanted to do it without her.
I have found these therapy consultations very useful - we worked through the issues I felt and came up with manageable and effective methods to help calm my anxiety and over-thinking.
I felt very at ease to talk about my feelings, going forwards I feel I have good methods to help myself. I am not 100% where I want to be but that is only because of time and feel that if I implement what you have given me I will be in a much better place. Thank you.

I saw Sarah Jane through a very difficult few months in which I was having to cope with many life changes. I can honestly say I’m so fortunate to have started seeing her at this particular time. I worked with Sarah Jane on two occasions, and found her to be an incredibly supportive, caring, knowledgeable and constructive therapist and coach.
