Dr Shane Roche is a general physician with 20 years of valuable experience, specialising in the care of the elderly and patients with very complex needs. His incredible competence in providing excellent care has placed him on the list of the top 250 consultants in the UK. His aim is to achieve a smooth patient pathway and he is thus very efficient in communicating very quickly with GPs and other healthcare professionals, resulting in successful treatment.
He qualified in Dublin in 1980 and moved to London in 1985 to complete his training at Charing Cross, St Mary’s Hospital and Central Middlesex. He currently works under the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, as well as leading a Community Rehabilitation unit for the elderly. As an active member of the research community, he has authored numerous published articles, on Parkinson’s and Dementia in particular.
