Dr Sarmishtha Sarkar is a Consultant Paediatrician with the current NHS base East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. She specialises in community child health and paediatric neurodisability and her areas of interest include Autism diagnosis and medical management, ADHD diagnosis and management, complex neurodevelopmental and neurodisability- motor disorders and epilepsy.
Dr Sarkar graduated from The University of Calcutta, India in 2000 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. In 2005 she attained her membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. In 2013 she completed additional training, Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Paediatrics and Community Child Health in 2013. She is highly educated and experienced; she has been working as a consultant for 7 years.
She is passionate about working with children, she aims to ensure each child’s emotional and physical wellbeing is taken into consideration and that they receive high standards of medical care. She has several affiliations and memberships including the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and British association for Community Child Health (BACCH).
