Dr Shelley Rahman Haley is a Consultant Cardiologist and Lead for Echocardiography.
Dr Rahman Haley qualified with honours from Cambridge University School of Clinical Medicine in 1995. She trained in cardiology with a special interest in non-interventional cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac imaging at Papworth, Royal Brompton and St Thomas’s hospitals.
Dr Rahman Haley has an interest in adult heart valve disease, particularly complex mitral and aortic valve disease, and transesophageal echocardiography. She works closely with the surgical teams at Harefield Hospital to assess patients who may require surgery and monitoring their progress afterwards. She is often to be found performing scans in theatre as her patients undergo complex surgery.
She has co-authored recent publications in high-impact journals including The European Heart Journal – Cardiovascular Imaging, Circulation and The Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
