Dr Simon Davies has been a Consultant interventional cardiologist at Royal Brompton Hospital since 1994. As well as this Dr Simon Davies is a consultant interventional cardiologist and honorary senior lecturer in the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London.
Dr Davies has held a number of roles in various cardiology programmes, such as lead clinician for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), director of the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Intervention (TAVI) programme, a lead interventional cardiologist for the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) programme and national lead cardiologist for Refsum’s disease.
He has been invited to lecture frequently at cardiology and cardiac surgical conferences on an international scale and has been awarded a number of research and academic prizes.
