He is a Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Maidstone Hospital NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College Hospital in London. He completed his specialist training in London at the Royal Free & University College London Hospitals. He has an interest in all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology but has sub-speciality interests in thyroid, pituitary disorders and complex diabetes and also any hormonal imbalances. He is also an expert in the field of investigating for tiredness, body-aches weight issues or any other explained symptoms.

He is the lead for young adults with diabetes and diabetic foot services. He is also the lead for clinical governance at Maidstone.

He is also involved with medical education with various research activities in his field.
