I was very pleased with the level of service I received. Dr Shaw showed me great respect allowed me to express my opinion and was very professional and thorough in his examination. Although I have further tests to be completed I feel reassured that these will be completed to the same excellent standard.

I visited Dr Shaw last week having read up on his specialities, and chose him because of this. He did not let me down, I felt at ease and that my concerns were listened to and would be acted upon if necessary. Dr Shaw was very professional but also importantly he was reassuring. Thank you. N

Dear Dr Shaw I am writing to you to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care you gave my son in his fight for life: When we arrived it seemed like the hospital had given up on him. we were told "to expect the worst" and "he may not pull through" and one doctor suggested praying for him may help. We were distraught when he arrived at your hospital and saw him on the ventilator with tubes and machines all around him. The nurses on the ward were wonderful and under your guidance never gave up on him. We had fourteen sleepless nights at home, with me phoning the ward every few hours with never a grumble from anyone. He fought back and with your skill and determination you brought him back from the dead. You must be proud of your staff and proud of the work you do and all i can say from his mum and dad, his brother and sisters' and the rest of our large family is Thank You - Thank You for giving us our son back when we thought he was leaving us. Our son would like to thank you to, although he struggles to find the words. We know you don't want or need thanks and to you it's "just your job" but to all of us here you are a Hero! Thanks again

Steve Wow we got there! I am finding it hard to believe that I have spent near enough 6 months here. It all seems to have passed by so quickly. Whilst there have been some lows, I look back with fond memories believe it or not. you have been an integral part of the process, giving me a lot of your time in a friendly informative way. Your encouragement and honesty are much appreciated but more so, your friendship helped with all the difficult times. I need to get home, recuperate and get my golf swing sorted so that I can give you a damn good thrashing at next years Transplant Golf Tournament. (As If!)
