Dr Tabish Saifee is a Consultant Neurologist at the internationally recognised centre, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square and at London North West Healthcare University NHS Trust. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the UCL Institute of Neurology which ranks in the top 2 institutions in the world for neuroscience. He runs clinics diagnosing and treating people with all neurological conditions and he also had sub-specialty clinics in movement disorders including tremor. He gets excellent feedback from patients.
Dr Saifee was awarded a fellowship by the National Institute for Health Research for his research in movement disorders and was awarded a PhD from UCL. He has published over 45 original articles in the field of neurology and movement disorders. He has a role in postgraduate training of neurologists for which he has received multiple awards.
Dr Saifee received his medical degree from UCL Medical School. He was awarded an honours degree in Neurosciences in parallel to his medical degree. After qualifying as a doctor, he undertook 12 years of postgraduate clinical and academic training to become a consultant neurologist. His postgraduate training was on sought after programmes including the Hammersmith medical rotation and then the prestigious NIHR academic clinical fellowship for higher specialist training at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery as well as The Royal Free London Hospital. He is a member of the Association of British Neurologists, the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorder Society and is part of the Association of British Neurologists’ speciality advisory group for movement disorders.
