Dr Tim Rogers is a medical doctor and consultant psychiatrist with a dual qualification in applied sport and exercise psychology. Dr Rogers works as part of the small team of experts at Cognacity who tend to the psychiatric needs of athletes. He specialises in building resilience, performing under pressure and the management of stress. This expertise is used to support those in high performance roles in a range of environments including those that are corporate or high-stress, but he consults in Premier League football, elite rugby, cricket, professional dance and Olympic and Paralympic competitors/teams.
Dr Tim Rogers trained at the Institute of Psychiatry, London, and has been a consultant psychiatrist since 2009. He has substantial experience in a wide range of mental health problems and as a result of this, is able to cover a multitude of issues in and around mental illness. He serves as a specialist member of the Sport Resolutions' National Anti Doping Panel and is an executive of the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Sport and Exercise Special Interest Group.
Dr. Rogers is often asked to work both as an expert witness and also to teach, coach and speak about the lessons of high performance.
Dr. Rogers enjoys his role as Clinical Director for Togetherall, a digital platform that provides a safe space internationally for a community of people to come together and confide and support each other.
