Dr Uday Mandalia is a Consultant Radiologist currently working for the NHS Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals, where he is the lead for paediatric imaging. He works for the private practises are BMI Bishops Wood Hospital and BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital. He specialises in general cross sectional, general ultrasound, musculoskeletal and paediatric radiology.
Dr Mandalia qualified as a Paediatrician after becoming a Radiologist. He trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, in London. He completed a fellowship in Radiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital and has worked at Evelina’s Children Hospital. He is also an honorary Fellow in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Royal National Orthopaedic and the Central Middlesex Hospitals.
Dr Mandalia is active in research; he has published in many peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has also co-authored a book on radiology for junior doctors, which is awaiting publication. He regular provides lectures for radiology trainees, paediatricians, junior doctors and medical students and in 2018 was awarded Teacher of the Year by his NHS Trust.
