Dr Victoria Akhras is a highly trained consultant dermatologist currently working in the London area. She is an expert in general dermatology and she is also the lead clinician in one of the largest skin cancer screening and treatment centres in the UK. Dr Akhras is actively involved in dermatological research and has set up the Skin Tumour Tissue Research Centre at St George's Hospital.
She was awarded a travelling fellowship,and has spent time at the Sydney Melanoma Unit in Australia. In 2010, she completed a research project looking at lymphatic function and its role in the spread of melanoma, for which she was awarded an MD. Dr Akhras consults on all general dermatology for both adults and children, and treats conditions such as acne, eczema, allergy and psoriasis. She also runs a specialised diphencyprone clinic for the treatment of viral warts and alopecia areata.
Her training and well rounded experience in the field of dermatology has resulted in her developing a plethora of highly tuned skills in the field of dermatology. She is able to provide the best dermatological care to all her patients.
