Dr Waseem Bakkour is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological surgeon at University College London Hospital. He specialises in skin cancer, using the highest standard procedure, Mohs micrographic surgery, which sees the highest skin cancer cure rates. Dr Bakkour runs the skin cancer and mole screening service at UCL Hospital. He also sees patients for a variety of other skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis.
Dr Bakkour is one of the only UK doctors to receive formal fellowship extensive education in the use of lasers in Dermatology procedures. He uses lasers to treat many conditions such as acne, scarring, pigment removal, and rejuvenation. Waseem also has extensive knowledge in cosmetic anti-ageing skin procedures including fillers, microneedling, dermabrasion, and chemical peels.
Dr Bakkour also does research in the clinical and cosmetic use of lasers, skin cancer, and dermatological surgery. He has presented around the world and has also lectured about Dermatology at the University of Manchester.
