About
Ella’s passion is MSK physiotherapy with a particular interest in sporting injuries. In fact, she first pursued a career in physiotherapy after sustaining an ankle injury playing netball and undergoing subsequent rehabilitation.
Ella completed her undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Cardiff Metropolitan University prior to completing her Master’s in Physiotherapy at Oxford Brookes University. She has experience in surgical inpatient wards and in sport with additional qualifications in fitness instruction, personal training, sports massage, sports taping and pre-hospital immediate care in sport (PHICIS) through the Rugby Football Union.
Beyond the clinic, Ella regularly hits the gym, plays netball and works as a physiotherapist for a local rugby club where you will find her supporting the team with pitch-side first aid for rugby matches at the weekend!

Really appreciated today’s visit with Ella: she has an excellent manner, very professional and reassuring, calm and most of all clearly very competent and knowledgeable. The session was of immense help, with immediate remedial action and some clear and helpful exercises to help away from the clinic. In my opinion by far the best physio in Oxford, and I’ve seen a few over the years. With clinicians like Ella have no doubt that Bodyset Oxford will continue to go from strength to strength and will be sure to recommend widely.

Ella was so helpful in identifying my issues (runner's knee and a bad back caused by lack of core support). She came up with easy to follow at home workouts to improve both, and was so friendly and helpful with any questions I had outside of my sessions. My knee improved dramatically over the course of a month, and I've had no issues with my back since attending. Thanks Ella!
