Hello!

We are a team of Online Dietitians, offering a unique approach to finding food happiness. Our philosophy is to free you from your food obsessions. Learn how to ditch the rules so you can eat with happiness – for good!

After years of failed weight loss attempts, many people develop unhealthy relationships with food and become locked into a cycle of restricting, binge eating, emotional eating and giving into cravings. This relationship with food is draining.

What if I told you that there is a way to find peace and food and freedom for good? An approach that doesn't involve diets, thinking about what you can and can't eat and instead focuses on learning to listen and trust your own body to discover a happier, healthier version of you. And the best bit? You never have to follow a weight loss plan again.

About Nude Nutrition

Nude Nutrition was founded in 2017, by Registered Dietitian, Katherine Kimber.

Nude Nutrition offers a unique approach to finding food freedom. We specialise in treating chronic dieting, and eating disorders, and support anyone who feels they have a difficult relationship with food. We combine nutrition and psychology science with one-to-one coaching, to advocate for food freedom, positive body image, mental health and emotional wellbeing.

We honour that each of our clients has specific needs, life experiences and circumstances that result in a unique pathway to recovery and sustainable health. We offer a safe and non-judgmental space to help our clients to build confidence and reduce anxiety around their eating habits and food choices. We help our clients to cultivate inner body wisdom through intuitive eating practices.

We pride ourselves on delivering trustworthy coaching, in an empowering, collaborative and caring way.

How does it work?

One-to-one coaching sessions are led by a specialist Registered Dietitian via video call. We offer an initial assessment, aimed to get to know you, your lifestyle and your preferences in great detail. We'll identify how your relationship with food has developed, how you currently feel about food and your body and where you're getting stuck. We'll look at what you're hoping to get out of working together and decide on the appropriate next steps for your needs.

We will continue support through 50-minute video call sessions (usually weekly or fortnightly). These sessions run fluidly, and through discussion, materials, and exercises, we will help you to work towards your desires and cultivate a more peaceful, trusting and sustainable relationship with food and your body. We will decide together what programme would be best for you, based on your individual needs.

Our practitioners are trained in Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Intuitive Eating and our Health at Every Size (HAES®) aligned. We integrate nutrition counselling skills to assist you in your recovery and engage in ongoing clinical supervision to ensure you are provided with the safest, most ethical care and support.

"What if I have an Eating Disorder?"

Eating Disorder (ED) Recovery can look different to the Intuitive Eating journey. Whilst we can draw on some of the principles, others may not be appropriate in the early stages. For example, we might not be able to rely on hunger and fullness signals, as the body can feel prematurely full due to a slower digestion rate. A more structured approach may be necessary to reconnect you to your body's appetite cues in the first instance.

We assess patients and referrals on a case-by-case basis and will always practice in the remit that is safest for the patient. While disordered eating recovery through the Intuitive Eating framework can be self-guided, or in collaboration with a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor/Dietitian, ED recovery requires a multidisciplinary team to truly give you the best care and support you'll need for a full and sustained recovery.

Our dietitians are experienced in providing ED recovery support as part of eating disorder teams (alongside your GP and Psychologist at a minimum). Alternatively, if you suspect you have an Eating Disorder but have not been able to access appropriate support, we can help advocate on your behalf and assist you in forming a treatment team in a setting most suitable to you.
