I'd been getting comments for a while from people saying I looked tired when I didn't feel it. It was down to my eyelids being heavy because of excess skin that had seemed to get worse over time. I finally made the decision that it wasn't going to get any better unless I did something about it. So I decided to look into having surgery (Upper Blepharoplasty on both eyes). I looked into it online for around a month, looking at different clinics that offered the surgery, reading the reviews and most importantly choosing a specialist surgeon with the expertise and experience in that particular field. I chose the Spire Hospital Liverpool and Miss Taghizadeh for those reasons. I arranged to have an initial consultation with Miss Taghizadeh to see what was involved, the cost of surgery and to ask any questions. As soon as I met her, I was completely put at ease. I was expecting to be greeted with a handshake but she gave me a hug and I knew then that I was in safe hands. She took "before" pictures and explained fully the process involved so I knew exactly what to expect. Because she explained everything so fully including the aftercare process, I didn’t really have any questions. I decided to go ahead and I booke the surgery for a couple of months later. I was a bit nervous before the surgery as I’d only ever been in hospital once before hurt again, Miss Taghizadeh put me at ease so I had no worries and was completely relaxed. Surgery went brilliantly and my stitches were taken out a week later. I was looked after by everyone at Spire. All the staff I dealt with were completely professional and friendly so that it wasn't a bit scary. I followed the detailed after care instructions given by Miss Taghizadeh to the letter so I didn't really have any bruising and hardly any swelling. I could see a huge difference just after a few days. Miss Taghizadeh highly enough. She is very caring and makes sure that everything is explained fully and that you have a complete understanding
