Ruth Tansey is a Nutritional Therapist, specialising in problems relating to the bowel. Using a range of diagnostic tests, Ruth checks for food intolerances, hormone imbalances, gut dysbiosis, yeast overgrowth, thyroid and adrenal function.
Having suffered from health problems herself, Ruth understands the importance of making positive nutritional changes for the maintenance of your general wellbeing. She treats each case individually, tailoring treatment plans to the needs of the patient and taking personality, health status, insights, beliefs, past experiences and circumstances into consideration.
Ruth spent three years training to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist with the College of Naturopathic Medicine which is the largest provider of natural therapy training in the UK. Their naturopathic approach to wellness looks at the whole person rather than at a collection of symptoms. She also trained as a Colon Therapist at the well renowned Chi Centre for Practical Detoxification. Ruth offers one on one consultations as well as group talks and workshops.
