Miss Theresa Freeman Wang is a dedicated Consultant Gynaecologist. She graduated from Bristol Medical School in 1989. During her studies she developed a great interest for Obstetrics and Gynecology, which was cultivated during her electives at the prestigious Harvard Medical University and Shanghai Medical University. After she qualified, she completed her specialist training in The Royal Free, working with some of the most renowned physicians in the field. There, she developed her interest in colposcopy, which is still a major focus point of her career.
Her MD was a research project investigating methods of reducing women’s anxiety associated with the treatments of cervical pre-malignancy. In 2002 she joined the Whittington Hospital as a Consultant in Gynaecology and soon became and remains lead clinician for the colposcopy and vulvar services. Furthermore, she has been a Clinical Director for Women and Children’s Health and she has represented London on the executive committee of the BSCCP. She holds a position of great responsibility as the Assurance Lead Colposcopist for London, being in charge of controlling the quality of colposcopy services across the whole capital. Regarding private practice, she chairs the Colposcopy Users Group at the Portland Hospital. Miss Freeman-Wang adopts a multidisciplinary approach and aims to provide the best quality of care possible.
