Mr. Bachar Zelhof is a highly skilled Consultant Urological Surgeon affiliated with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, where he practises at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Wythenshawe Hospital. He achieved his research doctorate (MD with honours) from the University of Hull after an intensive study focused on multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging in prostate cancer. His research aims to optimise diagnostic and treatment pathways, ultimately enhancing surgical outcomes for patients.
In addition to his clinical and research work, Mr. Zelhof is involved in medical education. He has led undergraduate teaching in surgery for seven years and currently holds the position of a senior honorary lecturer at the University of Manchester. He also takes the lead in the kidney cancer module for the Northwest Urology MSc degree. Mr. Zelhof is a qualified educational supervisor, having completed Post Graduate Medical Education training in 2014, which allows him to serve as an Educational Supervisor, contributing to the training and development of medical professionals.
