Mr Siva Kumar is a leading consultant, plastic and reconstructive surgeon based across clinics in South London, Sussex and Kent. Mr Kumar has a wide practice covering breast surgery, facial rejuvenation and body contouring, as well as non-surgical procedures such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
He has a specialist interest in melanoma, skin cancers, sentinel node biopsy and enjoys the reconstructive aspects of the surgery. He is the MDT Lead for Skin Cancer for Kent and the Local Sussex area.
After originally graduating from the University of Newcastle, Mr Kumar undertook surgical training in the north of England, then completed three highly competitive fellowships in trauma, skin cancer, and cosmetic surgery. He was initially appointed as a Consultant specializing in Breast Reconstruction in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2015. He was subsequently appointed as a Consultant specializing in melanoma and other skin cancers at the world renowned Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead in 2016 where he still maintains his NHS practise.

Mr Kumar is an exemplary surgeon and a kind and caring human being. Before, through and after the procedure, he explained what he was doing and gave good advice, at the time and then in writing, about wound care. He also arranged for a follow up appointment for a nurse to check my progress. From my perspective as a patient, his professionalism and cheerful demeanour made the procedure a very positive experience.

Mr. Siva Kumar Veeramani was so kind and patient at all times before during and after the procedure. I was very nervous before the procedure but he put me at ease and explained everything about the procedure. During the operation, he continued to keep me informed and explained what was happening and I felt relaxed and calm. I would highly recommend him.

Mr Kumar explained everything thoroughly and in Simple terms that I could understand and made my experience Easy as possible I thank him for this it eased stress for me at every stage I knew what was happening everything was explained well at every point nothing was to much trouble I would recommend this doctor to anybody I know and care about

Mr Kumar was kind, clear and delivered information with empathy. His urgency made all the difference to us. We felt very confident and assured in his approach and knowledge.

During an arranged examination of my skin Mr. Kumar identified two small early signs of Basal Cell Carcinomas on my left cheek. At my request he very kindly agreed to remove these which he did within an hour of identifying them. I am most grateful to him for his professionalism and for his detailed explanation of the procedure for their removal. Mr. Kumar has previously carried out more extensive surgery on my face and I am delighted with the result. He is extremely conscientious and caring in the way that he has provided treatment for me.
