Mr Abir Bhattacharyya is a respected Consultant Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon practising at 150 Harley Street London. He has a wide range of experience in all areas of ENT conditions and disorders but specialises in treating ontological (ear) conditions in both adults and paediatrics, and accepts referrals from other ENT specialists with more complex issues. He has performed over 1500 complex ear procedures so clients can be assured they are in experienced hands He offers an in-depth consultation and assessment to find the root cause before agreeing on a treatment. Mr Bhattacharyya also has great expertise in the field of hearing loss and in treating conditions affecting the nose and sinuses. His vast knowledge has lead him to lead and run tertiary voice clinics with speech therapists to treat voice disorders in the NHS.
Mr Bhattacharyya is heavily committed to educating junior doctors and is Training Programme Director for trainee ENT surgeons in London, and is the Deputy Director for Medical Education. He also holds surgical workshops and seminars to educate healthcare practitioners on the most recent research findings and practices. He has previously been the Associate Director of Medical Education and Royal College Surgical Tutor at Whipps Cross University Hospital but is was appointed Deputy Director of Medical Education at Bart's Health in 2017. He was also appointed as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and is involved in postgraduate education courses in Otolaryngology in the UK and abroad. He has published numerous journals in his field along with an undergraduate textbook highly commended by the British Medical Association.

He is very approachable and understanding. He has fully explained my options detailing the pros and cons of surgery.

My experience has been fabulous with Mr Battacharya. I have had a sinpolasty and a correction of a deviated septum under him and after care. Now my daughter is also under his care for a deviated septum and sinusitis. We both feel we are in safe hands.

I had the consultation via Xoom as the doctify didn’t work. I could see and hear him but he couldn’t see or hear me
