Mr Achal Khanna is a Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Blakelands Hospital, Milton Keynes who specialises in Upper GI and General Surgery
After qualifying from Nottingham University, Mr Achal Khanna completed his training in Adelaide and Leicester. He has sub-specialised in Upper GI surgery with a focus on benign diseases, laparoscopic and general surgery. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014 and undertook novel research into Nitric oxide and endothelial dysfunction in Australia.
Mr Khanas particular areas of interest and expertise are in the surgical management of all areas of general surgery with a particular focus on Gallbladder surgery, and all aspects of hernia surgery.
In addition to his clinical commitments, Mr Khanna is thoroughly engaged in research activities and has published many research papers and has lectured widely and internationally.
