Mr Ahmed is a consultant in upper gastrointestinal surgery specialising on weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery). He is a lead bariatric surgeon at Imperial weight centre. His main areas of expertise are in the fields of laparoscopic (keyhole) and weight loss surgery. He has trained in general and upper GI surgery in the UK and at Stanford University and the University of Rochester in the US.
