I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Clearly an expert in his field, what makes Mr Swanton stand out further is his manner. He is a true gent, building a rapport with you, he is very calming and puts you at ease at all times. He is easy to talk to, listens, ensures you're informed, have time to ask questions and feel reassured and in safe hands at every stage. Couple that with his excellent and efficient PA, and you have a truly first-class team.

I was very pleased when I met Mr Alex Swanton for the first time (before I booked my surgery). A professional who at the same time is such a decent gentleman, soft spoken, knowledgeable and extremely polite , as soon as I walked into his room I had positive and comfortable feelings , He gave me the confidence to proceed with my surgery. We spoke a couple of times before the surgery, standard procedure explaining what was going to happen as I have a couple of other health issues and both times my mind was at rest that I’m in good hands. On the morning of my surgery he came to see me and reassured me that it was a simple procedure and I would be fine. Later that morning I was welcomed with a big smile as I entered the operation theatre and not even for one second did I feel nervous or scared. I am extremely happy with the surgery performed. Excellent results. I recently visited Mr Swanton for my check up after surgery and again I was welcomed with a very pleasant Mr Swanton,. The after care was just as professional as was the very first appointment. Mr Swanton is an exceptionally good doctor/ surgeon.

I did feel a bit unaware of what the recovery process and time in hospital expectation would be but when I asked for more information this was provided. I had an open myomectomy and I am already feeling the benefit of it, my 1st period was significantly lighter than before surgery. I just wish I had it done sooner!

I believe i made my choices independently. I did not feel pressured or rushed to decide what I wanted or felt needed to be done. Overall experience was very positive and am glad I had the procedure under Mr Swanton. He explained everything pros and cons and was fully informed. I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail even including my personal life and nothing to do with the surgery.
