Dr Coonar takes real time and care to understand the whole problem- including the root of the problem, rather than just looking for the easy solution. He never makes me feel rushed or like I’m taking up too much time, and makes a point of understanding how my pain is affecting me both physically and mentally. He explains complicated things clearly and ensures I understand and his letters are lengthy and full of detail.

I attended with my wife Helen Doncaster for her lung surgery follow up. Mr Connor was very kind to my wife and myself. He explained everything thoroughly and I could understand it. He gave us time to ask questions and answered them and made me feel better.

Explanation

I saw Mr Coonar today for my surgical follow up after my lung lobectomy surgery with my husband. I can honestly say I was greeted such passion and kindness. Mr Coonar explained everything from my surgery to the wounds which was very easily understood. I didn't feel rushed or pressured in the appointment. I felt my questions were listened to a great deal and answered them all with empathy and kindness. I have nothing but praise and gratitude to Mr Coonar for the care I have received from him over the last few months. If I am in need for further lung surgery I will certainly be asking for him to care for me. Mrs Helen
