Mr Andrew Irwin is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who works in the private sector at a number of private practices including Hatfield Hospital, OSD Healthcare and Spire Harpenden Hospital. He specifically focuses on hand/wrist surgery and shoulder/elbow surgery.

He qualified in Medicine in 1984 from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has also completed a fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. He has a specialist interest in in arthroscopy of the upper limb joints. He also treats a range of shoulder conditions including frozen shoulder, shoulder instability (dislocations), impingement and acromioclavicular joint arthritis/degeneration, rotator cuff tears and sports injuries of the shoulder and elbow.
