Mr Andrew Pearson one of the few truly specialist hip surgeons in the UK. He currently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Medical Director for the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham.
Mr Pearson studied at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in London, graduating with distinction. He then completed his higher training in orthopaedic surgery in the West Midlands. After this training, he undertook advanced training in complex and revision hip surgery at The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford.
Mr Pearson has presented at hip conferences internationally and has taught other surgeons. He is also a published researcher, with a focus on improving the success of hip replacement surgery and developing improved bearing surfaces for hip replacement surgery. He receives referrals from other orthopaedic surgeons across the UK.
