Many thanks for returning my poor old leg to its former ability – looking forward to the long walks and side saddle riding again.

I can’t thank you enough for looking after my mum last week she is not always easy – she firmly believes she knows more medicine than anyone else! - But she holds you in very high regard. My Dad and I have got very used to hearing; ‘Mr Perry says….!’ From my perspective I couldn’t help being worried but I felt hugely reassured knowing she was in such good hands. Your kindness - the call and text – was very much appreciated. She is mobile and smiling thanks to the skill and care of you and your team.

Thank you so much for you excellent work on my knee. I can walk very well without a stick, the scar is very neat and my leg straight – a great job done. I can now look forward to being independent once again for which I am very grateful to you.

When I had my first arthroscopy at a top London hospital by a surgeon purportedly used by David Beckham, I thought I had been well treated; reflecting on my visit this week to parkside I now think of that first operation as shoddy in all respects. Everyone I met on Monday, reception, physiotherapy, pre-op, theatre, recovery, post-op, catering and discharge were not only professional but caring, kind and with enough humour to keep me relaxed. Best of all is the speed of my recovery; on the second day home I am down to a single crutch and have suffered nothing more than discomfort; this of course, a tribute to your own skills. I regret that I am unable to write to everyone who helped me; whilst I remember most names I would not wish to omit someone by accident so will not ‘name names’ but I trust you will pass on my thanks and respects for a job well done.
