Mr Gibbons, My replacement knee ,10 May 2022 Has by far exceeded my expectations, my surgery is not only given me a new chapter in my life to explore, its given me the capability to do so. My surgery was complexed and he just brushed it off, saying it was straight forward. Well the scar is hardly noticeable, its women's dream and my bowed leg is straight and lengthened , my leg is lovely. After much research I decided Mr Gibbon was the man and I have been proven right. Within the last 7 years I have had both of my knees replaced and it’s fair to say that the difference has been life changing. In addition Mr Gibbon has performed two successful Arthroscopies on my wife’s knees and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Very easy to talk to and found him very much prepared to listen to me. I have a heart condition and was very anxious about the surgery I was to have, but Mr Gibbon was very understanding of the situation and put me completely at ease. He has performed a part knee replacement on both my knees and they have been a complete success. I would highly recommend him.

A first class experience. I first met Mr Gibbon 2 years ago when I was having pain in both my knees. Scans showed them both to have arthritis and Mr Gibbon initially gave me steroid injections and discussed a Double Knee Replacement. He told me he felt I was a good candidate for having both knees done and suggested them both being done at the same time. I was apprehensive about this initially but his reassurance was so important to me. He has a great reputation and is a very experienced surgeon so on 290921 I had both knees replaced . I was walking with crutches the next day able to get up stairs with crutches two days later. I was walking around the streets on crutches after 5 days and I can only describe my experience as excellent. I made sure I did my exercises three time daily and went to the gym after 3 weeks. I was able to use the bicycle and rower after 4 weeks .when I saw Mr Gibbon after 6 weeks I was completely pain free walking unaided. He was extremely happy with my progress and as he had told me it would give me my life back.. I have absolutely NO hesitation in recommended Mr Gibbon to anyone considering a single or double knee replacement. He is the man !!
