Mr Sahai has been very reassuring and patient with me. I appreciate how he talks me through issues and helps me see thd pros and cons of management options for my challenges

I could not imagine being treated by a more considerate and accomplished consultant. My life, and far more important appendages, were literally in his hands! He took wonderfully good care of me, for which I am very grateful.

Mr Sahai has carried me along through this entire journey since it was discovered I needed surgical intervention to prevent my left kidney function. He has literally held my hands all through reassuring me and even letting me know I was free to to seek a second opinion when I was initially hesitant to go ahead with the recommended procedure. My hesitance had nothing to do with my confidence in his expertise but was more from my trepidation about the recovery journey as I was having some PTSD from previous surgeons who had not managed me optimally. But I eventually came round and Mr Sahai performed my procedure successfully with the aftercare from him being very exceptional. I am really appreciative.

Clear down to earth manner and explanation of my prior tests and further tests on the day to explore further and well explained context and how to see matters going forward and be able to check myself on any key changes

Arun Sahai was, at all times, clear and decisive. He provided enough information to allow me to discuss with him and agree on the most appropriate management plan. In the event, this approach worked well and I was very pleased with the result ie I was totally dry after six years of moderate but inconvenient urinary incontinence.

He runs the functional urology service, and is an expert in management of all forms of urinary incontinence, bladder pain, and reconstructive urology. He has pioneered the introduction of Botox for the treatment of overactive bladder and neuropathic bladder, and his trials of Botox and the use of Botox were the very first in this country and worldwide. Arun Sahai is a colleague of mine at Guy's Hospital (NHS) and at London Bridge Hospital. He is a specialist in female urology, continence surgery and complex bladder conditions. I therefore often refer patients to him with these complex issues and feel he gives a sensible and honest opinion on these.
