Mr. Asad Qayyum is a Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeon with over two decades of experience in the treatment and management of all general ENT disorders, including sinus issues, swallowing problems, voice disorders and snoring/sleep disorders. He sees private patients at the Ramsay Woodland Hospital.
Mr. Qayyum earned his primary medical qualification in 1996, after which he undertook his basic training and junior ENT training at St Mary's Hospital, London, and was also on the East of England training scheme as a specialist registrar. He also has a keen interest in research and has undertaken extensive research on the genetics behind hearing loss at the Sanger Genome Institute, Cambridge. He was later awarded an international Otology Fellowship at the Royal Darwin Hospital, Australia, where he gained knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of advanced eat problems. He also spent time gaining further experience in the implantation of hearing devices in adults and children with hearing disabilities.
Since his Consultant appointment, Mr. Qayyum has developed an interest in Otology and rhinology, in addition to the treatment of paediatric ENT problems.

I am amazed with the quality of care provided by Dr Qayyum. He was very clear in his explanations. Everything he discussed with me happened to the letter. Very impressed how knowledgeable and focused he was. And of course, very kind, friendly and humble. Thank you so much doctor for clearing my snoring and bringing back very good night sleep
