Following his dedicated da Vinci robotic fellowship in Melbourne, Austrailia, Ben Challacombe was appointed consultant urological surgeon to Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in 2010
Mr Challacombe's main focus is offereing laparoscopic and robotic procedures for complex surgery of the prostate, bladder and kidney. He obtained specialist training with periods at Guy's and St Thomas', The Royal Melbourne and The Royal Marsden Hospitals.
His involvement in academic research into prostatic disease has resulted in him writting over 70 peer-reviewed publications and 20 book chapters on the subject.
Ben won the Rowan Nicks UK and Ireland Scholarship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009.
