We had been to see a few doctors and none had any idea what to do but Mr Alkhaffaf knew immediately! Fantastic doctor very easy to talk to, explained everything thoroughly answered every single question patiently, never rushed us at all - can't fault him! He carried out the complicated surgery with no issues, fast healing tiny wounds and provided constant personal care and attention while in hospital - thank you so much! He cured the incurable - best doctor ever!

Mr. Alkhaffaf carried out a hernia operation on me at the BMI Alexander Hospital. I felt that everything from first consultation, the operation and final consultation was first class. Mr. Alkhaffaf was friendly, re-assuring and I felt completely at ease with him which made the whole experience as stressless as could be hoped. I would certainly highly recommend him.

From start to end this was a positive experience. Like any operation you are apprehensive but I was put at ease from the beginning and the surgery itself was excellent. For a hernia I had very little bruising or pain and no side effects. I could not have hoped for a better result and was back to doing everything normally within less than 2 weeks. I hope I don't need another but if I do I know who to go to. I can honestly say there is nothing I would want to improve or change in the end to end process

Mr Al-khaffaf was my consultant/surgeon recently when I was diagnosed with gallstones and subsequently had my gallbladder removed. During my first appointment with him he explained the function of the gallbladder, the reasons why gallstones form and what happens after the removal of the gallbladder in the short and longer term. He answered my questions, communicated clearly and I understood his explanations. He told me right away that I would require surgery and he explained how the operation would be undertaken (keyhole surgery) as well as the process from my first appointment, pre- op assessment, operation and follow up appointment. After the operation he came to the ward to see me and I appreciated this very much as I had been quite ill. I received a first class service. Mr Al- khaffaf was very courteous and I never felt rushed during my two appointments with him. My whole experience was excellent and I would certainly recommend him and the service I received.

Having surgery can be quite scary but Mr Alkhaffaf was so patient and explained everything. The morning of my op (Gall bladder removal) he was so calm and reassuring he took the fear away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing this kind of surgery.

I had an umbilical hernia operation with keyhole surgery in July 2017. The whole procedure was handled with great care, taking less than one hour. Mr. Alkhaffaf visited me twice in my the room after surgery. I had no complications or pain or discomfort. The follow up visit was to check it had healed OK and it had. Very pleased with the whole thing and now don't have an unsightly bulge. D.

I had Laparoscopic Cardiomyotomy for Achalasia in May this year. Achalasia is a rare condition and there isn’t a lot of information available. I was referred by my local hospital as they could not perform the procedure themselves. Mr Bilal AlKhaffaf was incredibly reassuring. Not only did he explain much more about my condition, he advised me about the different treatments and helped me the most appropriate choice for myself. Throughout the entire process he was there, I never felt like my questions were an annoyance. The post-surgery care has been just as lovely. This entire process has been stressful but I can honestly say that Mr Bilal AlKhaffaf has made it as pleasant as it would be in that situation.

Great surgeon! I was referred to Mr Alkhaffaf by my G.P. for double hernia surgery. I'd listened to all sorts of horrors stories from friends who'd had the same operation by different surgeons at various other hospitals, so was a little concerned. However, Mr Alkhaffaf assured me there was nothing to worry about... and he was right! The procedure date was arranged within a couple of weeks of my consultation and keyhole surgery was carried out at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle (all on the NHS too!). I must say I'm really impressed with Mr Alkhaffaf and all the team at the Alex. Thank you!
