Mr Bishwanath has been a consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital since 2009, and Fellowship Programme Director of the largest Training Programme in Medical Retina in the World with 25 years of extensive experience in Ophthalmology with Special interest in Retina.
He did his specialist Registrar training in the UK, with CCT in Ophthalmology, and Medical Retina Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital with an area of specialism in medical retina, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, central serous retinopathy, myopic macular degeneration, uveitis and inherited eye disease.
