He maintains this within his current practice sitting on research committees and holds honorary research contracts at the Royal National Orthoapedic Hospital & Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals.
Mr Chatterjee is very committed to education and his research is widely published and presented. He lectures and teaches internationally and is a tutor in minimally invasive keyhole surgery. He is the author of numerous book chapters, articles and research papers, as well as the Consultant editor of several medical journals. Far and away the best consultant I have ever had dealings with, either for myself or for family. Friendly, puts you at your eye straightaway, an exceptional listener. Very clear in his explanations and laying out the various options. Unhurried and unhurrying. Clear of his on view and on what this was based but absolutely no pressure to go down any particular course of treatment. That was left entirely to me to decide in my good time. Always reassuring, both in manner and in his obvious professionalism, knowledge and experience.
