Mr Brendan Moriarty is a Consultant Opthalmic Surgeon at the Optegra Eye Hospital, Manchester with a special interest in Telescope Surgery for macular degeneration. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Cambridge before continuing his training in Ophthalmology in Bristol, London, Windsor and St Paul’s Eye Hospital in Liverpool. He was selected to complete a prestigious Fellowship in Glaucoma at the internationally renowned Moorfield’s Eye Hospital.
Mr Moriarty is involved with overseas charity work and was the previous Medical Director and Advisor to ORBIS International. He has published over 60 academic papers, many of which have been presentated to learned societies.
