Mr Brian Bradnock is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon currently working at the private practices Spire Harpenden Hospital and OSD Healthcare and his current NHS Base and his current NHS base is West Hertfordshire NHS Trust. He specialises in the hip and knee and his areas of interest are revision surgery (orthopaedic), lower limb trauma, arthroplasty, hip resurfacing, soft tissue disorders, sports injuries, knee surgery, arthroscopy and joint replacements.
Mr Bradnock is highly educated, he has a BSc, Bachelor of Surgery and a Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons. He completed his early training in orthopaedics in Edinburgh. In 1992 he moved to London, where he worked at Great Ormand Street Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust and Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. In 1997 he became a senior lecturer and honorary consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
Mr Bradnock developed an instrument to remove bone cement for use in revision arthroplasty (joint replacement) and a machine called Oscar which is now sed regularly in revision joint replacements in Britain, Europe and the USA. Furthermore, he is a member of the General Medical Council.
