Mr Chetan Katre is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial/ Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgeon currently working at the private practises BMI The Alexandra Hospital and BMI The Highfield Hospital. His current NHS post is North Manchester General Hospital, Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. His areas of specialism are Cancer Care, ENT Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His areas of interest include dento-alveolar surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, dental and oral implants and facial deformity.

Mr Katre graduated with a degree in Dentistry in 1991. In 1998 he attained a Fellowship in Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He attained Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from University of Manchester Medical School in 2002. He achieved a Fellowship for Surgeons in General of The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2005 and Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2009.

Mr Katre is also interested in research and has published in many peer-reviewed scientific publications. He has presented nationally and internationally, and he uses his expertise to teach dental and medical students.
