I am a senior Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant specialising in Hand Surgery. I have been an NHS Consultant since 2001 and I work at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. Apart from my involvement in general Trauma my clinical practice is entirely focused in Hand Surgery. This ensures provision of high standard clinical care and excellent clinical outcomes.

Throughout my career I initiated and established a highly specialised Hand Surgery service in a busy General Hospital with development of a multi-disciplinary team focusing on individual patient needs. This is underpinned by vigorous clinical audit and participation in research and clinical education
