Mr David Williamson has worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon since being appointed Consultant in 1990, gaining extensive experience of general orthopaedics and trauma, before specialising totally in foot and ankle surgery. He qualified from the Oxford University Medical School and completed basic surgical training in Bath, before undertaking specialist Orthopaedic training at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. Further trauma training was at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
He was Director of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department in Swindon for 5 years, and leader of the national Surgical Team of the Year in 2006.
He has published research articles on many topics in Foot and Ankle surgery.
Member of British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society since 1995.
