Dr David Lubel is a Consultant Physician with a specialist accreditation in both General and Geriatric Medicine. He qualified in medicine at Guy’s Hospital, London in 1983, having been awarded a distinction for his outstanding performance. During his training years in General Medicine he gained valuable experience as he was working in some of the busiest hospitals around London such as St Thomas’ Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital.
Dr Lubel has a broad interest in geriatric and general medicine that is reflected in the wide range of services he offers. Regarding his contribution in the research field, he is the author of an impressive number of published papers, with particular interest in disorders of mobility such as Parkinson’s, and heart failure.
During his career he has held some very prestigious positions as he was formerly an honorary secretary of the British Geriatrics Society and he is chairman of the Harrow Local Research Ethics Committee.
