Mr Mukherjee greeted me and my parents at my first appointment with such kindness and understand at what was such a stressful and low time in my life. He made me feel understood and reassured me that everything I was going through and feeling was completely normal. He was incredibly patient and very thorough, giving us all an in-depth explanation to what was happening and even drew some pictures to help visualise the problem. On my surgery day he explained that he had daughters so was very careful where he cut across my body not to leave unsightly big scars for the future. I can’t thank Mr Mukherjee enough for saving my life and being such a lovely and approachable man. I will forever be grateful to him for giving me my life back and feeling better again which is something I didn’t think would be possible.

I did suffer from Achalasia a rare symptom of the oesophagus and hence unable to eat and lost lots of weight as a result. I was so afraid and wasn't sure what my treatment optikns were and also the best Consultant to carryout the treatment. I reached out to Mr Mukherjee who explained my options in detail and gave me the assurance that things we get back to normal after my treatment. I opted for the heller myotomy procedure. My treatment was successful and l was able to eat normally immediately after my surgery. I do highly recommend Mr Mukherjee for his expertise in this area and also for his excellent patient care.

Mr Mukherjee was absolutely fantastic in every aspect, throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything, even going as far as to hand draw diagrams for me that really helped visualise the operation I was going to have. On operation day, he had an incredible bedside manner and made the whole experience flawless. I would absolutely recommend Mr Mukherjee to anyone. In my opinion, a flawless surgeon.
