Friendly and professional. Douglas explained everything very clearly, with warmth and patience. I felt extremely well cared for and that my wellbeing was of high importance to him, not only as a healthcare professional but also generally as a human being. Absolutely first class. Quite possibly the best experience I’ve ever had in a hospital. From initial appointment, through surgery to post operative care. Outstanding. Thank you.

Outstanding experience from start to finish and cannot recommend Mr McWhinnie highly enough. Corrected an incisional hernia from a previous surgery in another hospital that left me utterly debilitated. Cannot thank him enough for his professionalism, skill as a surgeon, expertise and lovely caring manner and most of all for giving me my life back. Has restored my faith that there are some outstanding doctors out there.
