Mr Drummond Mansbridge graduated from The University of Glasgow in 1993 and completed his basic surgical training in Glasgow. He began his specialist training in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery in 1999, which lasted 6 years. During this time, he developed a particular interest in hip and knee arthroscopy, including alternative bearings in hip replacements for younger patients, computer-assisted surgery for knee replacements and revision knee surgery.
He completed his specialist training in 2004 and undertook a senior position at the Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow as a hip and knee arthroplasty consultant, with a particular interest in knee arthroscopy and forefoot surgery.
Recently, Mr Mansbridge became involved in the musculoskeletal care of a Scottish Premier League football club and will soon completed his Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
