Based in Chelmsford, Essex, Mr. Kannegieter provides effective, pain-relieving solutions for many foot and ankle conditions, including bunions, hammertoes, heel pain and many other debilitating foot issues.
Over the past 18 years, Mr. Kannegieter has expertly honed his skills and experience in elective foot surgery and has developed a special interest in treatment of the rheumatoid foot.
Outside of his private work, Mr. Kannegieter holds an NHS post as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Braintree Community Hospital in Essex, employed by Provide CIC.
He is also proud to be a tutor in Podiatric Surgery and has lectured at various regional and national conference with the College of Podiatry. He is also an Instructional Leader for Marquardt Cadaveric Courses in Frankfurt, Germany.

A previous winner of the prestigious Glasgow Caledonian University Clinical Medicine Prize, he graduated from the university with a distinction in Podiatric Medicine in 1999 and went on to further his training in Bishops Stortford, Epping, Colchester, Ilkeston and Reading before gaining his fellowship in Podiatric Surgery in 2012.
Following 3 happy years as a Specialist Registrar in Podiatric Surgery at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Mr. Kannegieter relocated to the Essex countryside, where he now works both privately and for the NHS as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon.
Mr Kannegieter is member of the College of Podiatry (15160) and is registered with the HCPC (CH14263).
