I had my left hip replaced by Gareth in May 2022. Gareth was excellent, explained everything and answered all of my questions. The operation went very well, I was walking on crutches in 12 hours and was off them in 2 weeks. The whole replacement was brilliant and I was back riding my bike within 6 weeks on the road, even competed in my first time trial event in 3 months I cannot recommend Gareth enough, his surgical skills has allowed me to resume my normal fitness lifestyle and plan new races for 2023

Mr Roberts has performed a total hip replacement procedure for me. He took my case on short notice, for which I am very grateful. His explanations of what I could expect pre op and what I will be able to do going forward have been clear and precise. He has offered me a follow up appointment at my discretion in three months, depending on if I feel the need to have my other hip assessed. I am 100% pleased with my treatment from Mr Roberts.

I want to express my sincere thanks for the hip replacement procedure which you carried out on the 22nd of February. It is now some 5 weeks since this date and apart from playing football. Only joking. I can do most things. I have experience but little pain and discomfort, there is still some swelling in the calf region but each day makes some improvement. nothing had happened to cause me concern. I continue with the physio exercises and as I have strong movement in the leg joints I intend to use the car for the first time on Saturday. I am indeed indebted to all the members of staff for their kindness and for the way in which they went about their duties.

Dear Mr Roberts, I just want to thank you for the wonderful work you did on my hip. While I understand we all stand on the shoulder of those who have gone before us. You bring your own uniqueness to your particular mountain and therefore change it forever, even in some small way. I truly thank you for your hours of dedication to learing and training. for I have benefitted beyond my hopes from it. I am someone you never knew or may never meet again, but understand this, that through your hard work you have improved my life from a painful cripple looking at my future life boundaries rapidly and painfully drawing in from the world I love. To a liberating pain-free life for as long as the good Lord grants. To enjoy, participate and contribute with and to people and experiences, I love and care for. It seems small to say but it truly means so much to me and I hope to you when I say thank you, Gareth Roberts, and may God bless you.
