Mr George Samandouras is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery..
Mr Samandouras has been trained in Oxford at the Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust and completed a fellowship in Paris in 2008. Mr Samandouras runs the world's foremost course on brain tumour surgery attended by international senior neurosurgeons, Professors of Neurosurgery and Department Chiefs.
Mr Samandouras currently Directs the Education and training of neurosurgical trainees and fellows at Queen's Square. The aim of the course is to teach experienced neurosurgeons advanced techniques of safe and maximum brain tumour removal. A significant part of his practice includes second opinions for challenging or "inoperable" tumours. He also has interest in cranial endoscopy and spinal surgery.
Due to his extensive research experienced Mr Samandouras has received several awards and has many publications.
