After five years as a Consultant Orthopaedic & Spinal Surgeon in Scotland, Mr George Verghese moved to North London in 2011 and is now working at The Royal Free and Barnet Hospitals.
After qualification as a doctor from the Armed Forces’ Medical College in India, Mr Verghese continued his extensive training in orthopaedics and has gained considerable specialist expertise in spinal surgery, which forms the majority of his orthopaedic practice.
Mr Verghese also offers Joint Replacements (Fellowship trained at Wrightington), retains a keen interest in trauma surgery and is active on the faculty of the AO, all alongside being an Orthopaedic trainer with the London Deanery.
Away from the theatre, he openly admits that his days as an amateur musician are very much in the past, though a favourite pastime is his occasional jamming session with his children.
