Dr George Verghese is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgeon currently working at the private practices BMI Hendon Hospital, BMI The Cavell Hospital, Highgate Private Hospital, Spire Bushey Hospital, Spire Harpenden Hospital. His main NHS post is Royal Free Hospital, in London. His specialism is the hip, knee and spine. His areas of interest include back and neck pain, sciatica, Degenerative Disc disease (DDD), spondylolisthesis and degenerative spinal deformity.
In 1994, Dr Verghese attained a Diplomate of National Board at National Board, India and a Master of Science at Bombay University. In 1997 he completed a Master of Science at Liverpool University, England.
