About

Mr Georgios Attilakos is a Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and also the lead clinician for the Maternal-Fetal Assessment Unit at UCLH. Georgios completed his undergraduate studies in medicine in 1993 and gained full registration to work as a doctor in the UK in 1998.

In 2002, he was awarded the membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Following that, he was heavily involved in research and conducted studies in the field of non-invasive prenatal diagnosis, for which he was awarded his MD by the University of Bristol. Georgios also undertook subspeciality training in Fetal and Maternal Medicine at the teaching maternity hospital of Bristol University - St Michael’s Hospital. 

With vast experience in the field of maternal medicine, George is particularly interested in looking after complicated and uncomplicated multiple pregnancies. He is also invovled in teaching and is the RCOG College Tutor at UCLH, with a particular interest in Postgraduate Medical Education. In addition to this, he has co-developed a national teaching course for operative birth skills targeted at junior obstetricians.
