I had a good first meeting with Mr Davies. He was efficient, personable and informative. He set me at ease and I found the overall experience to be helpful and reassuring.
3.5
The surgeon was nice and thorough, radiologist felt rushed and somewhat dismissive. There was potentially a miscommunication between the two as the radiologist focused more onto an obvious area which I knew was of little concern and then quickly looked through the other side which was my primary reason for concern. I’ve had 5+ ultrasound breast screens done (in the UK, US and EU) in the past, I have dense breast tissue and the radiologist tend to be quite careful, often scanning from several angles with different amounts of pressure. This radiologist was not very careful and his communication did not make me feel like I could ask questions. At the end, I was dismissed saying everything was fine with little explanation apart from a comment that I have no risk factors. I wasn’t shown any imaging and had little time to ask or think of questions. I didn’t know have any time to ask about the sources of my symptoms and how to manage them. They did their job, but this is definitely one of worse services I’ve had in terms of breast screens and imaging. Overall the service wasn’t bad, but given that it’s private practice it should not have been this rushed. They did their job decently, but I somewhat regret choosing this clinic as I feel like I wasted my money.

Mr Davies is extremely understanding about one’s concerns and very reassuring. He personally took me to the X-Ray department where I had a mammogram and explained the results afterwards very clearly.

I was referred to see Mr Gile Davies after a health assessment. I was extremely anxious and worried but Mr Davies made me feel completely relaxed as he explained thoroughly what he suspected could be causing my symptoms. He reassured me with his vast knowledge and put me at ease as I proceeded to have the tests. Mr Davies is a very personable and knowledge consultant and I would highly recommend him.
